OK this is it y'all.....the last of #projectboulder. I know....are you sick of me yet:)
Let's go upstairs.....
Remember that carpet I told you about? Well it looks awesome!
This is a picture of the master bath in all it's glory. Some structural changes had to be made here but it was definitely a game changer for this space.
First of all these angled french doors had to be addressed. Walking up the stairs and looking left, you could see right into the master closet! No bueno.
In this image you can see how this problem needed to be addressed....
Also in the next picture you can see the door [bifold no less] to the shower and toilet which was very small and dark.
So by extending the wall and creating a small entry to the master bedroom we solved the problem. This took a few hours of thought for sure!
To make the entry special we wallpapered it and added a pretty light...
The mirrors were not up when I left so I took this one from the listing.
To the right you can see how the whole wall was opened up for the shower.
What a difference huh? It's so big you could shower with a friend:)
In this shot you can see the whole change with the addition of the sliding door [still needed paint on the trim of the door] from Home Depot!
Bedroom painted SW Repose Gray
Here is the before of the master!
After
There was just no way we could fill all of these shelves so I decided not to put anything in them.
Before
We ordered this bed online....it looked good but I am not sure I would want to spend my honeymoon on it if you know what I mean.....wink wink:)
The rug from Target, end tables from Ikea.
Down the hall is another bedroom
After
Ikea bed....
Hall bath
You can see we took out the door and widened it between the vanity area and tub/toilet area and added a double sink vanity.
Ordered the vanity online and painted the walls BM Hale Navy
So you want the good news?
It went on the market Friday and sold at the open house on Sat! All I can think of is that they have to pack it all up already.
Hey guys don't call me for that job:)
Here is the listing if you want to take a look.
If you want to start from the beginning and read all of the post....here are the links [more info about furniture and details]
Damn....this was some good blogging material.
What now?
I can tell you this....I have plantar fasciatis and it sucks. I had it 30 years ago for almost a year so I am hoping I'm smarter now [that's debatable around here] with treating it and laying off the running.
You guys have a rowdy week:)
